From Vision to Reality

Our Process

Every Hillcrest project follows the same careful path — from the first conversation to the final walkthrough. We don't cut corners or rush the details. Here's how we work:

01

Consultation

Let’s talk about your vision

It starts with a conversation. We offer free in-home consultations to understand your space, your lifestyle, and what you’re looking for. Whether you’re building new or renovating, we’ll walk through your ideas, answer questions, and discuss what’s possible within your budget and timeline.

  • Free in-home consultation
  • No-pressure conversation
  • Budget & timeline discussion
02

Design

Custom plans built around you

Once we understand your vision, we get to work. You’ll receive detailed drawings showing exactly how your cabinetry will look and function. We walk you through material options, finishes, hardware, and layout — refining every detail until it’s exactly right. Nothing goes into production until you’re completely satisfied.

  • Detailed custom drawings
  • Material & finish selection
  • Unlimited revisions
03

Craftsmanship

Built in-house, by hand

Every cabinet is built right here in our North Bay shop. We use premium materials — Canadian plywood, soft-close hardware, and hand-selected finishes — and take the time to get every joint, edge, and detail perfect. No assembly-line shortcuts. Your project gets our full attention from start to finish.

  • Built in North Bay
  • Premium Canadian materials
  • Precision craftsmanship
04

Installation

Professional, precise, on time

When your cabinets are ready, our team handles the full installation. We show up on time, protect your space, and install everything with the same level of care we put into building it. We don’t leave until every door is aligned, every drawer glides perfectly, and you’re completely happy.

  • Full professional install
  • Attention to every detail
  • Clean, respectful work
